About Us
Our history
Extending the Branch was founded in early 2022 in Logan County, Ohio. ETB received official 501(c)(3) status in September 2022. Our Board is currently made up of 7 individuals from various backgrounds. Please check out our Facebook page to see how you can get involved!
Community involvement
- Provide educational classes/trainings + materials for different settings/situations
- Support groups for all types of areas that involve the LGBTQIA+ community and their families
- Work with the local health department to have clinic days for vaccinations/testing for various health concerns
- Community outreach to aid in other community resources, including but not limited to references for LGBTQIA+ friendly doctors, restaurants, safe spaces, etc.
- Hold larger gatherings throughout the year in order to be inclusive and provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+ individuals
- Bellefontaine PrideFest
